Moto G5s plus vs. Nokia 6 - Which one should you choose and why?

In today's market, where the availability of the phones is much higher than their demands, choosing a perfect dream phone is close to impossible. On one side, there are those high-end phones which look so much captivating, and on the other side, the mid-end phones which are affordable.
But you need not worry. This post here will have you covered on your ifs and buts.

The two rivals - Moto G5s plus and Nokia 6.

Moto G5s Plus vs. Nokia 6 - Comparision

Both of them looks as terrifying as the other. When you try to choose any one from them you need to check each and every feature of both of them. Here are some of my observations based on personal use and a bit research:-

Starting counter:  0 - Moto G5s plus                0 - Nokia 6

  1. Style and Design
  • Moto G5s plus - Moto G5s plus comes with a full metal body. The screen size is 5.5". The edges are curved. The mic is placed at the back positioned midway above the camera. A thin black strip just passes below the mic. Although the camera is peculiarly round, it looks classy. Going below the camera we find the Moto Logo.
  • Nokia 6 - Nokia 6 also has a pure metal body. One pro point is that its body is unified. The phone comes with a curved display, matte body and rectangular soft-edged camera. The mic is placed on the top of its back. The back panel looks perfectly furnished. Overall, the design is perfect and appealing.
Based on the above facts I would rate +8 to Moto G5s Plus +9 to Nokia 6.

       2. Performance and Processor
  • Moto G5s plus - Based on a Snapdragon 625 processor, the phone works as a lion(King of the jungle). Hardcore performance, little lags, and fewer heat issues make the phone an overall ideal competitor. Snapdragon 625 comes with 2.0 GHz Cortex A53 octa-core processor. Overall smoothness is promised.
  • Nokia 6- Nokia 6 is equipped with Snapdragon 430 processor. The processor comes with a 1.4GHz Cortex A53 octa-core processor. Although good, we can assume that G5s plus has an overall better performance.
I would rate +10 to moto G5s Plus and +8 to Nokia 6.
        3. Space and Memory
  • Moto G5s Plus - Two variants - 32GB(G5s) and 64GB. RAM - 3GB and 4GB respectively. Has Dedicated MicroSD Card slot, expandable up to 256GB.
  • Nokia 6 - Two variants - 32GB and 64GB(arte Black). RAM - 3GB and 4GB respectively. Has a hybrid SIM slot, MicroSD expandable up to 256GB.
Upper Hand goes to Moto G5s plus. +9 for MG5sPlus and +8 for Nokia 6.

       4. Display, Resolution, and GPU
  • Moto G5s plus - 5.5" Fully capacitive IPS LCD Display with a pixel density of 401 ppi. Resolution - 1080 x 1920. GPU - Adreno 506.
  • Nokia 6 - 5.5" Fully Capacitive IPS LCD Display with a pixel density of 403 ppi. Resolution - 1080 x 1920. GPU - Adreno 505.
Considering pixel density and GPU, my vote goes to both of them(+9).

       5. Camera
  • Moto G5s Plus - Comes with a primary 13+13 MP Dual Camera, along with f/2.0 and dual LED. The secondary camera is 8MP/f2.0 with flash. Video quality is 2160p@30fps.
  • Nokia 6 - Comes with a primary 16MP Camera, f/2.0 and dual LED. The Secondary camera is 8.0MP/f2.0 without flash. Video quality is 1080p@30fps.
It is beyond doubt that Moto G5s+ is better. Having a high MegaPixel doesn't always mean a better photo quality, also, the dual camera provides a depth to the picture. So, +10 to MG5s+ and +8 to Nokia 6.

      6. Battery and Sound
  • Moto G5s plus - Comes with a fully packed Li-ion 3000MaH Battery. Has an active noise cancellation. The speakers aren't at par with the standards.
  • Nokia 6 - Comes with a fully packed Li-ion 3000 MaH Battery. Features Dolby Atmos speakers with active sound enhancements.
I would rate +8 to Moto G5s+ and +9 to Nokia 6.

Last but not the least,

      7. Price Comparison
  • Moto G5s Plus - Costs around  16000INR for 64GB variant and 14000 INR for 32GB one.
  • Nokia 6 - Costs 15000 INR for 32GB variant and for the 64GB variant, price not yet disclosed.
Due to being overpriced, I would rate +9 to Nokia 6 and +10 to MG5s+.

From my observation above, the final count for MOTO G5s plus amounts to 64 and for Nokia 6, 60.

Both the models are superior to other models of the same range or even higher. While Moto G5s plus comes with a better processor, Nokia 6 has a better build and sound.
When it comes to Gameplay, both of them are limitless.
But, My choice would be Moto G5s Plus over Nokia 6.
